We’ve worked with a range of local and national businesses striving for change, including Octopus Energy, OMG Tea, Brighton and Hove Food Partnership, The Railway Land Wildlife Trust, Ecogym, and LUSH. We also work with an amazing bunch of entrepreneurial businesses. We’re also the official marketing partner of the University of Brighton’s Green Growth Platform.
We are seeking a Creative and Content Intern with an eye for design, confident with the written word and keen to make a difference by helping our green and ethical clients grow. We are looking for someone to join our team from December.
Initially, the role is for 3-4 days a week TBD. However, we take on interns to grow and the intention is that it would be a full-time role within a few months.
You will work with the creative and data teams to produce highly polished output for our clients or our internal marketing. Our ideal candidate would have experience in graphic design and copywriting. But, equally important is an enthusiastic approach to teamwork and saving the planet!
This role includes:
Creating highly polished sales proposals under guidance from a member of the Bloom team.
Attend workshops & client meetings take notes & create well-designed output.
Develop internal web copy, write blog posts & create copy for Bloom’s social media account
Design mock web pages (e.g. in Canva or InDesign) where we need to articulate changes to a client
Attend client workshops and write up in graphically engaging style. (e.g. re-create physical post-it notes from a workshop into a digital version).
Mockup social media posts for client strategy examples
Provide general administrative support to the business.
Keeping our team in check - make sure that we stick to our eco principles. This means NO SINGLE USE COFFEE CUPS!
Graphic design skills, e.g. using Adobe Design Suite products CS4 or CS5 (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash) or Canva.
An ability to work creatively, independently.
Full of ideas and participative in a team setting.
Can write well & articulate to a high degree
