THE PROCESS

Can-b Film are a video production company based in the centre of Brighton. They take pride in delivering eye-catching short films and creative social media video content. The online landscape in this sector however is very competitive with many SERPs already being saturated with local competitors and larger organisations bidding on popular keywords. We knew that our first approach had to be, improving all the local signals on-site and off-site.

We began this process by first ensuring we understood their business and the services they wanted to rank for and then examining online competitors that we would have to target and work around. This was followed by extensive research focused on main target keywords such as film production Brighton, video production Brighton etc.

Our research showed us where the opportunities in this sector where and also showed us where the market was oversaturated.

Following a full website audit that included, content analysis, website structure review, keyword targeting etc. we began to reshape the look and feel of the website in the customer’s eyes as well as Google’s. Can-b Film experienced a full restructure to enable us to better optimise specific pages for specific keywords. This was a vital element to our project as previously, the website was structured in such a way that wouldn’t have made this possible from an SEO perspective.

Actions were given to both Creative Bloom and Can-b Film team to ensure results could be achieved as quickly and efficiently as possible. Communication was key for both Creative Bloom and the client to ensure we were all working towards the same goal without treading on each other’s toes.
