Sophie Robinson was one of our most interesting clients and a pleasure to work with. As one of the television judges for BBC’s The Great Interior Design Challenge, Sophie had very specific needs for her marketing campaign. In her own right, Sophie had been running master classes, predominately in London, as part of her job as a high profile interior designer and stylist.

Initially, we were asked to strategise around how to increase her following on Instagram and Twitter following over a 6-8 week period. Overall, we wanted to create a much stronger presence and marketable reach for commercial promotion with brands.

We began by performing an SEO audit of her website and Social Media profiles, in order to examine potential technical issues and opportunities for organic traffic increases. We had discovered that Sophie had three different websites that needed to be integrated into one. Once the audit and website redirects were complete, we began profiling her social media followers and customers for her workshops, in order to attain new demographics that we could market her brand towards.

We created a number of social media campaigns and provided the creative structure for marketing Sophie Robinson the brand, online and offline - emphasising Sophie’s natural approach, stylish eye and bubbly enthusiasm. Throughout all these processes, we provided social media execution and support services.

As the process evolved, we focused on social media optimisation and PR support for all the broadcasts of her work with the BBC’s 'The Great Interior Design Challenge', working closely with the digital executives and studios at ITV to collaborate on a number of social media short films for Sophie. We then set about releasing content across ITV’s own social media channels, as well as our own.

All of the work with Sophie was evidence based. We consistently measured her output across both online and offline channels, utilising all of our data streams to create the best strategies.
